Founded in 1847 by Louis-Franois Cartier, the "House of Cartier" was originally a jewelry boutique. Over the years his expertise and craftsmanship traveled the world and his ambitious grandsons Louis, Pierre, and Jaques masterfully managed the business opening boutiques in Paris, London and New York.
